Curaçao gaming licence in 2026: CGA, LOK and what a buyer should check

Curaçao is no longer a sublicence conversation. A 2026 file is about CGA status, LOK language, and the clock on any temporary certificate.

A Curaçao gaming licence in 2026 is a CGA file, not a PDF from a master-licence era. If a listing still talks only about a sublicence, treat that as a history note, not the current permission.

Read the certificate, then the stack

Ask for the current certificate, expiry or extension language, and whether sportsbook, casino or B2B is actually in scope. Then map the operating entity, holding, payment agent and any account that still exists. A licence without a payment path is a half file.

Temporary is a clock

Temporary certificates and transition wording have dates. Price the renewal work before you price the shares. Geoblocking and supplier contracts are signed after takeover; they are not included in the corporate sale.

Inventory, not a flag

Regulora lists Curaçao and Anjouan structures as companies for sale when a file is actually available. We coordinate. We do not issue licences.

This note is general information, not legal advice.
